Raku Kiln For Sale July 15, 2026

PORTABLE TRASH CAN RAKU KILN WITH EQUIPMENT:

Used 5 years; fired a dozen times; light, portable. Inside measurements: 24"H x18"W.
Lined with fiberfrax blanket and rigidizer, attached with ceramic buttons and nicrome wire; has holes for torch, vent and thermocouple.
Fires easily and well.
EQUIPMENT INCLUDED: Propane "Tiger Torch" with regulator; 50 lb. propane tank; 2 kiln shelves; long raku tongs; large Z-tex mitts; kevlar sleeves.
Asking $450 firm. Can't do a demo, but will include hand-written notes of the setup I used.

Kiln Building Materials For Sale June 16, 2026

I am selling all new materials for the construction of a kiln. The materials will build a roughly four foot cubed kiln. Diagrams of my plans are attached as PDF files below.

I purchased these materials in 2015 (insulating fire brick, firebrick "heavies," arch bricks, ceramic blanket and ceramic fibre paper). I also have 2 Venturi Burners for propane that will accommodate a kiln of this size. Pretty much everything you need is here except for a metal framework for the kiln's exterior.

You will note that the materials cost $9, 73374 in 2015. If you were to purchase the same supplies today due to inflation they would be much more expensive.

I am selling everything as a package, and offering a twenty percent discount.
